How this was made.
What this is
A plain guide to the people running in the District of Lake Country election on October 17, 2026. It shows what each candidate has said in public, in their own words, on the same set of topics. Every candidate gets the same space and the same questions. Names are listed by last name, nothing else.
How it was made
An AI tool reads the public sources listed below. It pulls out exact quotes and sorts them by topic. A script then checks that every quote exists, word for word, in the source it came from. If a quote does not match, it is dropped. Nothing is reworded.
For the candidates panel video, the AI writes a short, neutral summary of each answer and picks one exact quote. Each one links to the moment in the video so you can hear it yourself. A person checks the whole panel index before it goes live.
Where we found nothing from a candidate on a topic, the page says so. That line is the same for everyone.

If a quote looks wrong, check it against the source it links to. Every quote is copied word for word. The date at the bottom of each page shows when the site was last rebuilt from the sources.
